DCE - Memberships & Associations

The Division of Continuing Education (DCE) pays for UF's institutional membership and placement with the following organizations:

Eduventures

Eduventures is a research and consulting organization that assists institutions of higher education with understanding and analyzing key market trends and competitive dynamics at national, regional, and industry-specific levels. DCE maintains an institutional membership with Eduventures' Continuing and Professional Education Learning Collaborative (CPE-LC) which helps constituents reduce costs, make evidence-based decisions, and market to adult learners. Further, it assists in identifying and assessing new growth opportunities for specific degree and certificate programs, online offerings, non-credit courses, and contract training. DCE also retains access to Eduventures' archives of more than 600 research reports.

As part of our Eduventures membership, we commission in-depth research studies and analyses of proposed programs, adult learner trends, and operational efficiencies to address specific unit needs. These custom investigations are conducted to provide evidence and strategic guidance to support decision-making on campus.

Sloan Consortium Asynchronous Learning Networks

The DCE has enrolled in the “College Pass” as well as the Premium membership in Sloan-C. This membership allows the University of Florida community to access Sloan Consortium reports and white papers. It also gives UF 100 seats in all of their workshops as well as 50 seats in selected workshops.
