DCE - Marketing & Public Relations Services

Public Relations

DCE will work with UF's Office of University Relations, the UF News Desk, and other communication entities to produce news items for general distribution. Press releases are also important additions to a program's electronic marketing

Electronic Media

Web Marketing

A web presence is essential for advertising new programs, whether they are distance or face-to-face delivery.
Explanation of Web Marketing PDF

For information and training events covering web marketing and communications, please see UF Web Administration's Events page.

Email Campaigns

DCE uses Constant Contact or UF's ListServ to track email addresses and adhere to all federal rules on bulk email.

Electronic Documents

Print-ready documents are useful to provide for potential students/attendees who prefer their information in hard copy. This also allows documents that are traditionally printed to be distributed via email or a website.

Print Media

Depending on a program's targeted demographics, printed materials may be the most appropriate media for contacting potential students.

Postcards & Handouts

Postcards & brochures are useful for mail campaigns to drive individuals to a program's website, as well as for information sessions and conferences.

Banners & Posters

Larger scale items are used for conference booths and advertisements at association meetings and academic advising offices.

Other Items

DCE will also produce other items to help programs stay in touch with their students, alumni and potential attendees.

DCE follows all UF identity standards when producing marketing materials.

Samples of more marketing items are available from the Department of Conferences.
