New Continuing Education Activities

When a UF unit considers launching a new continuing education program, DCE meets with the sponsoring faculty member and other stakeholders to review the approval process and discuss fiscal requirements and responsibilities of the sponsoring unit.

Business Plan and Approval

DCE will advise the unit on the required UF approval processes and then work with the unit to establish a business plan. In all cases the department dean (or signatory) must sign off of the program, while other approvals be may required depending on the details of the program. After a program has been approved, DCE will work with the organizers to determine what additional services the unit needs to produce, market and deliver the program. See the Self-Funded Activities Services and Help page or contact:
